He described the Prophet Moses (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) in the Book of Al-Qur'an as saying: Those pledges are Nos, Ibrahim, Musa Issa and Muhammad, may peace be upon them.

When the Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) went to Madinah, he saw the Jewish people on the 10th of the month of Muharram, the first month of the lunar calendar for Muslims. The tenth day of the month of Muharram is the day on which the Lord God delivered the Prophet Moses and his people of Israel from the Pharaohs in Egypt. After He split the sea in two for them. They crossed the sea, and Allah drowned Pharaoh and his army. This is the day when truth overcomes injustice, and Allah helps the weak to overcome the powerful.
