Your Beliefs 58 Belief in Godly Worship of God What does it mean to believe in a God who is worshiped in the name of Allah? It is the firm belief that Allah is the only One who deserves to be worshiped in all its forms, both externally and internally (mentally). Therefore, we ought to worship Him alone, such as praying, fearing, trusting, asking for help, worshiping, offering alms, and fasting, and no one is to be worshiped in the true worship except Allah. Allah has said: "And your God is one God. There is no god but He, the One who worships the true God except the Most Merciful." (The Bible should read 2: 163). He said that God is one God, meaning to be worshiped as one God. Therefore, it is not allowed to worship other gods besides Him. The importance of faith in Allah is the only one to be worshiped. The importance of faith in godliness to the worship of Allah is evident in many ways, such as: 3> Recognize that Allah is the only God who is to be worshiped, and that worship Him is the true meaning of the word: There is no Lord who is to be worshiped except Allah.
