Your Beliefs 65> Shirik (Pluralism) Pluralism is contrary to the belief in the one God of Allah (monotheism). If belief in the oneness of Allah as Lord and reverence for Him alone is the most important and primary duty, then polygamy to Allah is also the greatest sin. It is the only sin that He does not forgive unless He confesses to Him. Allah has said: "Indeed, Allah does not forgive those who multiply Him, but He will forgive those who sin against Him whom He wills." (Scripture should read 4:48). When asked of the Messenger of Allah, what is the greatest sin against Allah? He replied: "It is you who created a companion for Allah while He created you." (Al-Pokri: 4207 and Muslim: 86). Polygamy destroys all good deeds. Allah says: "If they were pluralistic, what they used to build will be lost from them." (Scripture should read 6:88). Those who practice [polygamy must go to hell forever. Allah has said: "Indeed, whoever does Sheikh to Allah, Allah has forbidden him from the heavens, and his abode is Hell." (Exodus 5: 72). There are two kinds of polytheism: polytheism to a greater degree or to a greater degree and polymorphism to a lesser degree or to a lesser degree. And the only way to worship Him is to have faith in God.
