In Al-Quran also further mentions this phenomenon, which means in Khmer verse 61: "Or who has stabilized the earth and created many rivers in its space, and created mountains to prevent earthquakes, Is there another lord to worship with Allah? On the contrary, most of them do not know. ْأَرْضَ َلَ الْأَرْضَ قَرَارًا وَجَعَلَ خِلَالَهَا أَنْهَارًا وَجَعَلَ لَهَا رَوَاسِيَ وَجَعَلَ بَيْنَ الْبَحْرَيْنِ حَاجِزًا ۗ َٰهٌلَٰهٌ مَّعَ اللَّهِ ۚ ۚلْ أَكْثَرُهُمْ لَا يَعْلَمُونَ - 61 The description of the separation between the two seas in the 25th chapter of the Qur'an, verse 25, adds: "And He made the two seas contiguous, one to drink fresh water and the other to taste salty." ⁇ َّذِي الَّذِي مَرَجَ الْبَحْرَيْنِ هَٰذَا عَذْبٌ فُرَاتٌ وَهَٰذَا مِلْحٌ أُجَاجٌ وَجَعَلَ بَرْزَخًا بَرْزَخًا وَحِجْرًا مَّحْجُورًا - 53 Modern scientists have discovered the confluence of freshwater and saltwater in the so-called Estuary / Delta, which differs from the confluence of two seas (the Mediterranean and the Atlantic Ocean). The confluence of freshwater and saltwater so-called deltas (e.g., the confluence of the Nile Delta with the Mediterranean Sea, the confluence of the Mekong Delta with the South China Sea) is one of the most fertile areas for agricultural cultivation.
